Bésame Mucho 2023

DECEMBER 02, 2023
LOS ANGELES, CA

THE SHORT VERSION

Maná, Los Bukis and Gloria Trevi headline the second year of this one-day fest.

Latin music stars Maná, Los Bukis and Gloria Trevi will headline Bésame Mucho Festival, the one-day Latin music fest happening in Echo Park’s Dodger Stadium on December 2. The fest 2023, which is organized by producers Tropicália and La Tocada, is already expanding and will debut in Austin at the Circuit of the Americas on March 2 of next year.

What makes Bésame Mucho unique from other Latin and Mexican music fests is the design of multi-generational artist lineups which, in turn, attract a wide-ranging crowd. Last year’s debut event drew an intergenerational audience that consisted of entire families, 24-year-olds and 76-year-olds reveling in the music together.

This 2000s-inspired Latin fest sold out in February 2022 in 12 minutes, 10 months ahead of the first festival date. While last year hosted 58 artists, the performances were literally back to back, and often cut short, so this year’s lineup is smaller. The festival has three stages, separated by genre: pop, rock, and classic. This year, Maná headlines the rock stage, Los Bukis headlines the classic stage, and Gloria Trevi headlines the pop stage.

Food options of last year included Perro Tacos, Avenue 26 and Las Chelaguas. These local vendors served quesadillas with fresh tortillas, shredded beef tacos, and agua fresca michelada hybrid drinks paired with pineapple chunks and chamoy straws. In addition to the food options, last year’s festival included Dia de Los Muertos art designed by the scenery and set designer of Hollywood Cemetery’s Dia de Los Muertos, Ricardo Soltero. Additionally, spectators enjoyed fighting matches between wrestling luchadores.
