Buckeye Country Superfest 2024

JUNE 22-23, 2024
COLUMBUS, OH

THE SHORT VERSION

For two days, Ohio Stadium gets converted to a dusty singalong and two-steppin’ party.

Dust off your cowboy hat, because Buckeye Country Superfest is rearing its head (and Stetson) in Columbus, Ohio this June. Big headliners such as Zach Bryan and Billy Strings will bring some twang, while Turnpike Troubadours and a slew of other guests will bring more downhome country vibes for two days. The festival will revolve around one main stage at Ohio Stadium, where Ohio State University’s Buckeyes play. But for this weekend, it’ll be converted to a dusty singalong and two-steppin’ party. The website lists resolutions for the festival, such as “find the perfect vintage t-shirt to wear to the festival” and “get a picture under the horseshoe.” (Personally, we’d say Dolly Parton tee or bust.)

The festival will kick off college football style: with the official Buckeye Country Superfest 2024 Official Tailgate. It’ll take place both Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 a.m., before the main event. Food trucks will be open with both booze and grub, so just BYOS (bring your own sunscreen) so you don’t match the OSU colors. Otherwise, don’t bring a thing; only small bags are permitted into the stadium, and the large venue will be packed with anything you’ll need to purchase, including some very country merch.

The Specs

  • Last year, the festival hosted over 60,000 country music fans.
  • Tickets for one night start at $69.99.
  • Columbus has a variety of other festivities to check out while there.
