Grilled pork ribs on the grill

Happy Harry’s RibFest 2024

JUNE 05-08, 2024

Loosen your belts and get ready for a four-day BBQ meat coma at the cherished RibFest of the Midwest.

Cutoff tees and cutoff shorts abound at Happy Harry’s RibFest 2024, which is all set to sizzle in Fargo from June 5 to June 8. Taking place at the FargoDome parking lot, the four-day barbecue is $5 — free for kids — and a meat haven.

Picture a county fair with extra American flags and signs for ribs rather than tractors and on concrete rather than dirt. Stroll around the lot exploring award-winning pit-masters from across the nation as they sling ribs, brisket, pulled pork and everything in between—come with plenty of wet naps. This year some visiting chefs to look forward to are Aussom Aussie’s BBQ, run by Australia’s “most accomplished BBQ chef,” and award-winning Cowboys Barbeque and Rib Co. There’s also a “Lip Smackin’ Lunch Special” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, where you buy the meat and the sides are included for free.

Each night, after you’ve gone into a meat coma, a different musical act will take the stage. Get ready for a twang-fest with Blackhawk on Wednesday, Chayce Beckham’s soulful tunes on Thursday, the 90s with Eve 6 on Friday, and close out the weekend with a head-banging set from Guns N’ Roses alum Steven Adler on Saturday. For over 25 years, Happy Harry’s RibFest has been a tradition, drawing over 50,000 attendees. So loosen your belts, and get ready for a saucy time.
