Sea.Hear.Now 2024

SEPTEMBER 14-15, 2024
ASBURY PARK, NJ

THE SHORT VERSION

Headliners Bruce Springsteen and Noah Kahan lead the lineup of Jersey's coolest beachside surf-and-music fest.

This is your chance to live your Jersey Shore dreams to the tunes of Bruce Springsteen. Asbury Park, the artsy-cool New Jersey waterfront spot where Springsteen famously got his start, will host Sea.Hear.Now for its sixth year with headliners Noah Kahan and Springsteen. Expect the crowd to be a mix of diehard Boss fans as well as the beachside-stroller crew, there to picnic to a soundtrack of rock, pop, indie and folk. The lineup appeals to the 90s and early 2000s kids more than anyone else, with Grace Potter, The Black Crows and Norah Jones all performing — though Action Bronson will likely draw some younger folks.

This newer festival was founded in 2018 by rock photographer Danny Clinch and Jersey native Tim Donnelly, a journalist with an eye for a good party. Inspired by the legendary Stone Pony, the music venue where Jersey royalty like Bon Jovi and Springsteen played early in their careers, they built a festival with C3 Presents, the folks behind Lollapalooza.

Sea.Hear.Now is also a celebration of the waters that give Jersey its shore, reflected not only in its beachside venue but in its commitment to sustainability. Alongside the musical performances, there’s a team surf competition showcasing the talents of skilled surfers as well as ocean-inspired art installations scattered throughout the festival grounds.
