Groudup Music Festival has the essence of a hardcore beach party but the vibe is way more chill, and welcoming to all ages. That laid back vibe means you’re not fighting tons of crowds and, get this, they offer masterclasses. What? Yeah, masterclasses and workshops. More on that in a second. It’s held on Miami Beach and this Miami scene is the one full of people dressed in Hawaiian shirts and beachy attire, listening to jazz music, under a canopy of string lights and palm trees swaying in the seaside breeze.
This three-day Groundup Music Festival has a set during the day and Late Night Sets which include performances from Grammy-award-winning jazz band Snarky Puppy, Madison Cunningham, Micheal League, Rachel Eckroth, and much more. Check out the entire lineup here. A bonus for families: children under 10 get in for free.
In addition to the several performances, Groundup Music Festival, as mentioned, has masterclasses and workshops with the artists. You can choose to learn how to make a record from start to finish from Micheal League or sing A Capella by Miami Beach seaside with Magda Giannikou. Check out the masterclass and workshop lineup here.
